About

Hello! My name is Amanda Hahn and I am studying Secondary Education/English at Webster University. While in my class EDUC 3125 Technology in the Classroom, I have included the following projects in my ePortfolio: Web Quest, Data Analysis, Digital Story, Concept Map, and Web Forms. I plan on using all of the projects in my future classroom for students. While forming my own WebQuest, I realized how well project-based learning can lead toward success for my students. Data Analysis will, I believe, be a great resource for me as a teacher. I will be able to compare grades of my students with ease, as the formulas in my spreadsheets do all of the work for me. The concept map is a great resource for students to help make sense out of information I may give them. The Digital Story is a great resource for students to show their creative side on various topics! The Web Forms, which I included Study Blue in, can be used as a resource tool for my future students. Over all, I did enjoy constructing the projects in my ePortfolio. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of work they entailed, but when I reached the end result of my projects, I was impressed. There was a lot of time involved in to making my projects, but if they will increase student comprehension of English, then I find them to be worth my while. Also, I think enabling students to have access to technology-based learning is essential for our learners today, especially since they are growing up using technology. It will keep them engaged, and their interest levels will sky-rocket!
